Seacrest

We were built in 1895 and 1953.

We are three buildings on a spectacular piece of oceanfront property.

The main inn, built in 1895, is a true example of shingle-style architecture. It houses our dining room and living room on the first floor and seven guest rooms on the second. Four front rooms have head on ocean views and two have amazing ocean views as well. Only one room has a peek of a water view.

The drama before us changes daily, sometimes hourly.

Rockbound

Rockbound is our building built in 1953.

It has been appealingly renovated into the style of the main inn. The exterior is beautiful but once inside it is difficult to tell that it wasn't built in 1895 along with the main building.

All six rooms are very large and are full ocean front and all have a private balcony facing the ocean. Each room, also, enjoys it's own fireplace for those snuggly cool Maine evenings.

Carriage House

The carriage house loft is the second floor of the carriage house  behind the main inn building.  It has a long stairway, not for the feint of heart but because of the height of the loft unit it has great ocean views over Rockbound and the Seacrest.  The carriage house was built in 1895 along with the main inn.  It offers sublime privacy.

We are prepared to give you as much or as little concierge service that you may need. Our staff is very well versed in our area, from Portsmouth to Portland and indeed much further north. Restaurants, galleries, museums, playhouses, outlet shopping, golf courses, beaches, Funtown arcades, honky-tonk beach towns to secluded unbelievably beautiful beaches and lakes. Southern and mid-coast Maine has it all. Portsmouth is only thirty minutes away and Portland twenty-five to our north. Camden and Rockport are one and a half and two hours north of Kennebunkport. Freeport is 45 minutes where LL Bean resides as well as a whole town devoted to very recognizable outlet shopping. And Boston and all of it's history and charm are barely an hour and a half. Just south of Portland off the turnpike is a brand new Cabellas.

Join us - the drama of the ocean will astound you. The sunrises and sunsets are amazing; the full moon reflecting on the water is intoxicating. Our dining room will really please you. Our staff is wonderful, our chef is great and our setting is unbelievable.
